We are so excited!!!

AGWPJA (Artistic Guild of Wedding Photojournalists Association) just announced the results of Fall Contest and we were chosen as one of the TOP 10 ARTISTIC PHOTOJOURNALISTS in the WORLD!!!

This is such a great honor for us! We have been consistenly winning awards in both WPJA and AGWPJA competitions for the past 2 years and it feels so great to share this honor with so many oustanding photographers!!!

This is the winning image from the contest that was shot by Corrie, and I did the Photoshop work to bring it to the final vision. This award is truly special because it shows our team work!!!

AGWPJA stands for Artistic Guild of Wedding Photojournalists Association and it is a "By Invitation Only" elite group that features only award winning WPJA photographers. So you can imagine how excited we are to be a part of this group and how thrilled we are to win more awards in this contest! The contest features Photoshop and Camera Manipulated images that express the photographer's Creative Vision. Each category features 20 awards.

Andrey's image won 5th Place in "Engagement Portrait" Category.



Corrie's image won 13th Place in "Getting Ready" Category.

We are winning again!!!
One of Corrie's awesome images from Whitney and Dan's wedding back in August won the 6th Place in WPJA Winter Contest "Getting Ready" Category.

JUDGES COMMENTS: An extraordinary picture! The photographer arranged the relationship between the bride and her friends in an unusual way. Everybody is visually present in this picture, but the bride is shining all over. Congratulations.

We have been winning consistently in every WPJA Contest throughout the 2006 and are determined to do even better in 2007. We are very excited and honored to be the members of such an amazing group of the best photographers around the world.

WPJA 2005 WINTER CONTEST results were announced today and we won 3rd place in "Children" category! We are very excited and honored!

I would attribute this shot to a great desire to create something different and A LOT of luck. Hey, no risk... no bubbles, right!
WPJA (Wedding Photojournalists Association) is a great community of many very talented and some of the best photographers in the industry. It constantly raises standards for creative work and professional business practices and we are very proud to be selected members of this amazing group of people.
WPJA is also a great resource for brides because it publishes WEDPIX magazine online where you can find a lot of very useful articles to help you understand what photojournalism wedding photography is all about.
